Bamawm Extension Pony Club Newsletter
As of 1st. July 2010 all properties with horses have to be registered with the Department of Primary Industries ( DPI ) .
To apply for a PIC number ( Property Identification Code ) number all you have to do is :-
Go to the DPI Victoria PIC page and follow the links to down load an Application form or phone the number 1800 678 779 for more information.
If your property is already registered with a PIC for cattle, sheep or another form of livestock, you won’t need to have a new number but you must inform the Department that there is a horse / horses kept on the property.
All this is FREE.

Rally Sunday 8th August
- A small number of members meet as usual for Gear check 10.10am with a 10:30am start. Lessons consisted of flat work, certificate work and games in the afternoon. Thanks to Sally Mitchell for running the day.

A beautiful day at Rochester with sun shinning keeping the freshly clipped horses warm.
Marissa Norris "won the Pony Club Aggregate" with a 1st - Best Presented - 1st - Rider Class - Champion Rider - 1st - Handler -1st - PC Mount, 2nd - Pair of Riders with Dani Altham, 2nd - BareBack Rider - 1st - Activity Course - 10yrs under 14yrs, 1st - Fancy Dress - As - Rainbow Bright
Ashley Norris, 3rd - Best Presented - 3rd - Rider Class - 3rd - Handler - 1st - PC Mount, 1st - Pair of Riders with Monique Pankhurst, 1st - BareBack Rider, 2nd - Activity Course - to Marissa, 1st - Fancy Dress - As a Spanish Rider
Dani had a successful Rochester Gymkhana, 10 events (5 wins, 5 seconds, 2 Reserves Champions and 2 Champions). Highlight.... Dani & Delvey Champion Pony Club Mount.
Sammy Dyson had great fun with places in the best presented, pairs, hairest pony and rode well.
Sarah Hilet did a great job with Treasure in the Pony Club ring and sharing the ribbons with little brother Tom in the fun ring.
Penny Dyson-rode Peace for experience and also brought home some ribbons
Past member Jemima Draper went home with two Supreme Champions. Please note BEPC had beautifully plaited tails thanks to Chris!
Highlight for the day was definitely the bare back rider event in the Novice ring-very entertaining for all!
