January rally trail ride from Sally Mitchell's
A reminder that our extra rally is being held THIS SUNDAY JANUARY 13TH. (As this is an extra rally, attendance does not form part of the tally for end-of-year attendance award).
Details :
Venue: Sally Mitchell’s property, 336 National Channel Road Torrumbarry
Theme: Cowgirls & cowboys (NB: helmet and appropriate boots to be worn by all riders including adults)
Gear check: 10:10am
Format: trail ride through the Mitchell’s property to their camping area. Picnic lunch then ride back to floats. Groups to be decided at gear check. Adult riders will escort each group.
Lunch: BYO picnic lunch & drinks (no alcohol). There is water, toilets and a BBQ available at the camp area (NB: BBQ will be unavailable if total fire ban).
Weather: current forecast is for 31 degrees and sunny. If forecast goes over 38 degrees, hot weather policy applies and ride will be cancelled (members will be advised by text should this occur).
Cards: bring PC cards as normal (Karen Wooding is card secretary unless otherwise advised)
First Aid: Karen, Katrina Monigatti
Housekeeping: members to clean and remove all rubbish (including horse poo) please. Let’s keep Sally’s property clean!
Directions: Drive to Torrumbarry on Murray Valley Highway and turn right after the hall into Headworks road. Drive approx. 4km down Headworks road until it goes into an S bend. Bear left on the S bend into National Channel Road (short post on RHS marked National Channel Road). If you go over the headworks you have gone too far! Continue approx. 1.5km down National Channel Road to first house on left. 336 marked on gatepost. Float parking available in old dressage arena area at front of property. If lost or unsure, phone Sally on 0428 590 059.
Extras: Sally has kindly made her pool available, so if you would like a swim after the ride, please bring bathers and a towel. No horses in the pool.

For sale- please note we now have a mouse proof box in the store room for for sale items. please put them in a plastic bag with an envelope stating your name, phone number and the price for each item so if anyone is after anything we can sell the item and get the money to you.
for sale: one small woollen BEPC saddleblanket (suit pony up to about 12.2hh) and a small BEPC woollen jumper for sale (size 70). Jumper will suit a child up to about 8-9 years. $30 each or $50 for both. Contact Alison on 0437 800 145
Aren't I gorgeous
Swanreach Wisdom (Kirrie) is a 13.3hh, 11 year old gorgeous bay mare. Registered Arabian riding pony, Riding Pony stud book and Part Welsh. She is forward moving with a floating trot. For an experienced rider that wants to compete. We have competed her in dressage, showing, show jumping and games, at pony club, adult riders and interschool. Easy to c/s/f.
